Purpose |
The Edit Vaccine Inventory Information screen is used to update the information on a single vaccine lot already existing in inventory.

Edit Vaccine Inventory Information
Find the vaccine lot to update in the table listing on the Show Inventory screen.
Click on the trade name of the desired vaccine you want to update.
The 'Edit Vaccine Inventory Information' screen will be displayed, producing an information table for the vaccine.
Make changes to Manufacturer, Trade Name, Lot Number, Dose Size, Expiration Date, Funding Program, Active Status and Cost per Dose as desired for the vaccine lot.
Type the number of doses to add or subtract in the 'Amount' text box.
Select a Reason from the 'Reason' pick list for the transaction.
Several transaction reasons are broken down further into secondary reasons. In the event the 'Secondary Reason' pick list is displayed after selecting a transaction reason, choose a secondary reason from the pick list.
The system will add or subtract the vaccine lot's doses on hand based on the Reason selected.
Click on the Save button to save the changes made.
All updates made will be saved to the database, and you will receive a message saying "Inventory was updated successfully ". *Note*
To return to the Show Inventory screen click the Cancel button.

Editing a Vaccine Lot - Note
In the event the lot is inactive and doses on hand are modified to be greater than zero, the system will prompt you to determine if you want to reactivate the lot. Click OK to activate the lot or Cancel to keep the lot inactive. All edits will be saved with either choice.
