Vaccine Cost Tab

 Purpose

The Vaccine Cost tab is used to add/edit the cost and effective dates of report vaccines for Georgia-specific reports: GANABRE2, GANABMAN, PRIACCT1, SITEACCT, ORGACCT1, COACCT1 and DPHACCT1.

 Functionality

Button

Description

When the  New  button is clicked, the Cost per dose and Effective Date fields will be cleared for entering a new Trade Name. Nothing is saved to the Cost Listing when the  New  button is clicked.

When the  Next  button is clicked, the Vaccine Cost fields will be examined for validity then added to the Cost Listing. Multiple Vaccine Costs can be added to the Cost Listing. Click the  Save  button on the Add/Edit Vaccine for Reports screen to save Vaccine Cost and Effective Dates to the database.

When the  Delete  button is clicked, the Vaccine Cost selected from the Cost Listing is deleted and the Vaccine Cost fields will be cleared. After deleting the desired Vaccine Costs from the Cost Listing, Click the  Save  button on the Add/Edit Vaccine for Reports screen to save the information to the database.

 Required Fields

Field Name

Description

Cost per dose

This is the Cost per dose of a report vaccine. Assign or change the Cost per dose by typing the desired number into the 'Cost per dose' text box.

Effective Date

This is the Effective Date of a Vaccine Cost. The Effective Date marks the beginning date that a Vaccine Cost is effective. A Vaccine Cost is effective until a more current Effective Date/Vaccine Cost is saved to the Cost Listing. Assign or change the Effective Date by selecting a date from the calendar icon or typing the desired date into the 'Effective Date' text box.

 Notes

In order for the registry to create and maintain a list of Vaccine Costs for a report vaccine there is a minimum amount of information necessary that must be provided by a user. These select pieces of information are the Required Fields and are denoted in the registry by the blue information field labels as seen in the example below.
