Show Inventory Screen |
Purpose |
The Show Inventory screen is used to view a selected site's inventory and to manage the return or destruction of expired vaccines. Additionally, the Show Inventory screen is a navigation point to additional inventory screens for adding and editing inventory as well as submitting physical inventory counts.

Functionality |
A vaccine lot with a Red font color for its fields indicates a vaccine lot is inactive. Expired vaccines are automatically marked inactive, so an expired vaccine's font color is also Red.
A vaccine lot with a Fuchsia row color indicates a warning that the vaccine lot will expire in the near future.
Viewing a Site's Inventory Listing
Select the desired site from the Site pick list.
A table will be displayed listing all Active vaccine inventory for the selected site. You may choose to display other vaccine inventory by selecting from the Active, Inactive, Non-Expired and Expired option buttons.
A table will be displayed listing all the vaccine lots corresponding to the status selection chosen in step two.
Active |
Select the 'Active' option to view only vaccine lots that are active. Active inventory must have doses on hand is greater than zero and cannot be expired. |
Inactive |
Select the 'Inactive' option to view only vaccine lots that are inactive, but have not expired. Inventory that has been decremented to zero is automatically marked as inactive by the system and is displayed. Also, inventory that has been manually marked as inactive by a user will be displayed. |
Non-Expired |
Select the 'Non-Expired' option to view all vaccine lots that are not expired; this includes active and inactive inventory. |
Expired |
Select the 'Expired' option to view all vaccine lots that have expired. Expired lots are automatically marked inactive by the system. |
Marking a Site's Expired Inventory as Returned or Destroyed
Select the desired site from the Site pick list.
View Expired inventory by selecting the Expired option button.
All Expired vaccine inventory will be displayed in three tables according to the vaccine's funding source and doses on hand. (See the table below.)
PUBLIC
Doses > 0Public vaccines that have expired and doses on hand are greater than zero must be returned to McKesson's distribution center.
PRIVATE
Doses > 0Private vaccines that have expired and doses on hand are greater than zero must be destroyed or returned through proper channels.
Doses = 0
Public and Private vaccines that have expired and have no inventory are listed at the bottom of the screen.
For Public vaccines with Doses on Hand greater than zero, select the check box(es) associated with the vaccine(s) you have returned to McKesson's distribution center, and click the Returned button to decrement doses on hand to zero.
For Private vaccines with Doses on Hand greater than zero, select the check box(es) associated with the vaccine(s) you have destroyed or returned, and click the Destroyed or Returned button to decrement doses on hand to zero.
